The result moved Jagiellonia to 8-2-1 and 25 points, two ahead of second place Korona. Earlier in the week Jagiellonia used Maciej Makuszewski’s 19th minute strike to advance to the quarterfinals of the Polish Cup. Frankowski did not appear in the match.
Jagiellonia and Frankowski will look to extend their league leads when they visit Chicago Sister Cities International Cup participants, Legia Warszawa Saturday.

The result takes Boulogne’s impressive league unbeaten streak to 13 games (3-0-10; 19 points) and moves the side from northwest France into 7th place, just four back of league leading Sedan.
Soumare and Boulogne hope to continue their climb up the Ligue 2 table towards a promotion place when they host third-place Tours next Monday, November 8.

Cuauhtemoc Blanco assisted on the first goal of Irapuato’s 2-1 win at Guerreros in Hermosillo on Saturday.

Blanco centered a cross from the left which Mexican striker Luis Valdes made no mistake with, burying the chance past Alfredo Frausto.
Guerreros equalized through Uruguayan striker Hector Gimenez six minutes later, but would have to play a man down after a second yellow was shown to Jesus Otero in the 33rd minute.
The sides went into the half knotted at 1-1, but it took Irapuato just two minutes after the break to find the winner, with Valdes striking his second of the match.
The result moves Irapuato into 6th place with a 7-6-2 record and 23 points. They’ll look to move up the Liga Ascenso table when they host Altamira on Saturday.
Paraguayan defender Lider Marmol went 180 minutes in two Atlante wins last week.
The former Fire defender played the whole of both matches as Atlante downed Queretaro 1-0 on Wednesday, and Necaxa 2-1 on Sunday in the Mexican Premiera.
The two-match win streak is the longest the side has had since back-to-back wins in March.
With two matches remaining in the 2010 Apertura, Atlante are 4-8-3 (15 points) and fifth out of six teams in Group B.

Potros de Hierro will host Mexican giants Club America in their second-to-last match of the season this Saturday.

U.S. international winger DaMarcus Beasley made his second appearance for Hannover 96, playing 13 minutes in the club’s 4-0 loss to Hoffenheim Sunday.
Things were going fine for the north German side until a second yellow to midfielder Manuel Schmiedebach in the 19th minute left them to play a man down for the remaining 71 minutes. Hoffenheim took it to them as Icelandic striker  Gylfi Thor Sigurdsson scored twice (45th, 48th minute) and assisted on the third, a goal from Senegalese midfielder Demba Ba (51st minute). German youngster Peniel Mlapa added a fourth in the 71st.
Beasley was brought on six minutes later to little avail as the result was already known.
The loss moves Hannover to 5-4-1 (16 points), putting them sixth in the Bundesliga. Die Roten will next host league leaders Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.
Botswanan international Dipsy Selolwane went the full 90 minutes in SuperSport United’s 2-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday.
Kaizer Chiefs took the lead just before the half with Knowledge Musona’s 41st minute goal. Despite going down a man following Kaizer Motaung’s 56th minute red card, Chiefs found a second goal through Siyabuelela Sonqwiqi’s strike in the 84th minute.
The loss moves SuperSport United to 2-3-1 (7 points) and ninth-place in the South African Premier League.
Selolwane’s club will return to league play with a visit to Maritzburg United on Wednesday, November 10.
