Chicago Fire’s newly acquired designated player Freddie Ljungberg will visit host David Kaplan on Comcast SportsNet’s Chicago Tribune Live today, Thursday, Aug. 19 at 6:00 PM CT. The former Arsenal great and Swedish international will discuss the Fire’s playoff push, his move to the club and the city of Chicago.
Since Ljungberg’s signing July 30, the 33-year-old midfielder has appeared in three games for the Fire. The play-making midfielder tallied his first assist in a Fire uniform in the Fire’s 2-1 victory over the New England Revolution last night at TOYOTA PARK. The Men in Red are 2-0-1 since Ljungberg’s debut against Los Angeles Galaxy, Aug. 1.
