The Chicago Fire Soccer Club held a “Pizza Friendly” at Chicago Wicker Park hot spot Piece on Tuesday, May 25 in advance of its friendly match against Italian super-club AC Milan on Sunday, May 30 at 7:30 PM CT.
Andrew Dykstra, Baggio Husidic, Peter Lowry, Patrick Nyarko and Calen Carr made pizzas and served fans throughout the event.
Piece specially crafted the Il Fuoco (Fire in Italian) Pizza in honor of the match and featured a special on its award-winning Worryin’ Ale, with a portion of the proceeds from both the Fire pizza and beer being donated to the Chicago Fire Foundation.
