Manchester United legend Denis Irwin will visit The Globe Pub in Chicago on Friday to promote Manchester United’s U.S. tour and their training session at Toyota Park in July.
Joining and introducing Irwin will be Fire Technical Director Frank Klopas and Globe owner Jamie Hale. Red Devil and soccer fans alike will have the opportunity to ask the former Red Devil and Irish legend questions from 10 – 11 AM CT after a brief introduction and announcement of the famed English squad’s match schedule in the states.The Globe Pub is located at 1934 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago, IL 60613, two blocks west of the Brown Line's Irving Park stop.
Denis Irwin spent a successful 12 years at Old Trafford, recording a total of 296 appearances for Manchester United, going on to win seven English Premier League titles as well as the 1999 UEFA Champions League, while also making 56 appearances for the Republic of Ireland from 1990-1999.
