Paris St Germain lifted the Coupe de France title after Guillaume Hoarau's extra-time header ensured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Monaco at a sold-out Stade de France.
The sides could not be separated after 90 minutes during which PSG forward Mevlut Erding came closest when he fired against the crossbar with eight minutes to play.
The capital club had dominated for long periods in the match and finally got their reward in stoppage time of the first extra-time period when Hoarau headed home after Monaco goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier blocked Christophe Jallet's shot into his path.It was one-way traffic for PSG in the opening half as they went in search of the game's opening goal without luck.
Mamadou Sakho thought he had scored when his 14th-minute volley beat Ruffier only for Pablo Pino to clear off the line.
