Rafael Robayo

As a player with solid work ethic and strong ability to support the team on both sides of the ball, Robayo will bring necessary experience to the Fire in 2012.  Beginning his career at the young age of16, Robayo was able to sign his first professional contract with the Medellin based Club Athletico Nacional.  Robayo made one appearance with the club in 2003 and then spent the 2004 season with Once Caldas. 

Club Deportivo Los Millionarios: A member of the Club Deportivo Los Millionarios (2005-2011)… Semifinalist in the South American Cup in 2007 and won the Copa Colombia Championship with the Millionarios in 2011, bringing the club its’ first title since 1988… Ranked 6^th Apertura and 4^th Clasura in 2011, with a semifinal finish in both and a goal…  Totaled 187 game appearances and 20 goals since joining the team in 2005… Served as a club captain since 2010…

International: South American Cup Semifinalist in 2007 with Millonarios F.C.

Prep: Attended the Escuela de Futbol Vida in Bogota from 2000-2002.
