How he joined the club: Signed as a Designated Player on Dec. 2, 2014 after two seasons with AIK of Sweden’s Allsvenkan

2015 (CHICAGO FIRE): Appeared in 31 regular season matches, starting 20. Tallied a goal and assist against MTL on 5/30. Notched his first MLS brace at PPL Park against PHI on 8/16. Two games later, he scored his second brace against NYR on 8/26. U.S. Open Cup: Appeared in three games as the Fire reached the semifinal round. Tallied a brace against ORL in the quarterfinals on 7/22.

2014 (AIK): Had five goals and two assists during Allsvenskan league play. He also scored two goals in five Svenska Cupen matches, and scored the first goal in 2-0 UEFA Europa League qualifying victory against Northern Irish side Linfield on July 24, 2014.

2013 (AIK): Signed with AIK on Jan. 1. Had 14 goals and three assists in 29 games during Allsvenskan league play. Scored five goals in six games in April and May and had back-to-back braces in July, scoring twice against Syrianska FC and BK Hacken. Igboananike finished the season with three multi-goal games, recording a brace against Brommapojkarna on Oct. 26 while closing the season with five goals in AIK’s final five games. Also went 120 minutes in the club’s Svenska Cup match against Sandvikens IF on Aug. 22.

2012 (DJURGARDENS IF): Made five Allsvenskan appearances. Had two goals in three Svenska Cup appearances.

2011 (DJURGARDENS IF): Had six goals and two assists during Allsvenskan league play. Also tacked on one goal in two Svenska Cup appearances.

2010 (DJURGARDENS IF): Joined Djurgardens IF on Jan. 1. Had nine goals and two assists in Allsvenskan league play. Also made one appearance during Svenska Cup action.

2009 (VASALUNDS IF): Had 12 goals and four assists in 26 games during the Swedish second division regular season. Recorded three braces during the season.

2008 (VASALUNDS IF): Had 18 goals in 25 games during the Swedish second division regular season.

2007 (DJUGARDENS IF): Signed his first professional contract on Jan. 1, 2008. Made two appearances during his first season, debuting against Hammarby IF on June 19, 2007.

YOUTH (DYNAMOS): Played for the Nigerian-based academy in 2006.
