Chicago Fire Announce Assistant Coaching Changes

Club parts ways with Matkovich, Percovich, Hyde and Carmona

CHICAGO, Ill. (November 4, 2013) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Monday that assistant coaches Mike Matkovich and Leo Percovich, goalkeeper coach Aron Hyde and Academy Staff Coach and Director of Scouting Rafael Carmona will not be returning for the 2014 season.

Matkovich joined the Fire as an assistant coach prior to the 2012 season, having previously served in the role for the club from 2009-10. Percovich was a member of the Fire coaching staff for three season while Hyde began his Fire tenure in 2010. Carmona joined the Fire in the summer of 2012 from Club Atlético de Madrid where he served as a youth coach.
