51 – Gonzalo Segares’ mid-air equalizer on Saturday was his first goal in 51 regular season matches for the Fire. That streak stood as the longest goal-scoring drought of the Costa Rican international’s career (his last goal came in a 2-2 draw at Columbus on April 25, 2009) and also the longest of any current Fire field player.

28 & 17 – Now that Sega has tallied, the longest goal drought for a current Fire player in MLS play belongs to Daniel Paladini at 28 games (9/6/2008 with Chivas USA). Pavel Pardo has the most games with the Fire without having scored a goal (17 matches), with his last strike coming in his debut with the club on August 3, 2011 (1-1 draw vs. Philadelphia).

212 – The record drought between goals for a Fire field player belongs to club original C.J. Brown. Set to be inducted into the Ring of Fire next month, Brown scored two goals inside the first 14 games of his MLS career (the second came in a 4-1 win over Kansas City on June 24, 1998). A total of 212 regular season games passed before he found the back of the net again, scoring the 47th minute game winner in a 2-1 victory over Columbus on September 9, 2006.

273 – With an appearance in Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Toronto, Fire captain Logan Pause moved past Chris Armas into third on the club’s all-competitions appearance list with 273 games played. If he appears in the next four matches, Pause will move past Zach Thornton (276) and into second place on the list on May 12 vs. Sporting KC.

1 – The previous two seasons Patrick Nyarko has tallied his lone goal of the campaign in the month of September. Following his 58th minute winner five matches into 2012, many will hope to see his goal total from the past few seasons grow in 2012.

300 – Nyarko’s 58th minute goal Saturday also stood as the 300th away goal in the club’s regular season history. See below other milestone away goals in Fire history…

It was also the first time since August 21, 2010 that Johnson’s record had more wins than losses (he was 2-1-1 back then). The Fire net minder is 14-13-16 over 43 career MLS appearances since first debuting in a 3-2 victory at the LA Galaxy on August 1, 2010.
