On April 23, 2010, the Chicago Fire Soccer Club and Section 8 Chicago, the Independent Supporters' Association for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club (ISA), unveiled the Chicago Fire Soccer Club Supporters’ Charter, a first of its kind document in North American sports that details the mission and values of the Fire organization and its supporters.
Drafted by Fire owner Andrew Hauptman in collaboration with members of the Fire front office and Section 8 Chicago, the Supporters’ Charter seeks to define the Club’s core values, Fire supporters’ rights and expectations, fan relations policies and the Club’s continued involvement within the community.
The Supporters Charter is a living document that the Fire and Section 8 Chicago will work together to amend when necessary in the future.
