2014 Chicago Marathon

It is that time of year, to start planning for the 2014 Bank of America Chicago Marathon being held on Sunday October 12th. Anyone interested in running with Team Chicago Fire Foundation can apply today and receive a guaranteed spot in the race rather than risking the odds of the new lottery system. All Team CFF runners will receive helpful tips and incentives to help train for the 26.2 miles, race day gear, on field recognition at a Chicago Fire Match, and much more! Let us help you reach your goals while you help us reach ours!

Art of Futbol

The 4th annual Art of Futbol will be Wednesday, May 14th at Prairie Production Studio (1314 W Randolph). This one-of-a-kind art exhibition will feature local artists and their original work depicting the beautiful game of soccer. Guests have the opportunity to mingle with artists and Fire players while enjoying music, drinks, and light appetizers. Click here to purchase tickets.

Fire Brews and Bites

SAVE THE DATE: The 3rd annual Fire, Brews, and Bites will be Saturday, June 14th! Additional details will be available soon
 
On Saturday, June 15, 2013 the Chicago Fire Soccer Club hosted the 2nd Annual Fire, Brews and Bites with all proceeds benefitting the Chicago Fire Foundation. The event was held on the rooftop of Roots Handmade Pizza in West Town. Guests sampled one-of-a-kind beers from the MillerCoors portfolio, each paired with a signature Roots appetizer. The event also featured a pizza buffet, raffle, and each guest went home with a commemorative beer koozie.

White Party

The sold out 3rd Annual Chicago Fire White Party was held Thursday, August 8 at the MCA Warehouse in West Town.  Guests donned in their most stylish white attire at this marquee event featuring a premium open bar, food from various Chicagoland restaurants, music from DJ Sye Young, photos from ActionBooth and more. To top of the night, each guest left with a gift bag!  This year’s White Party raised over $50,000 to benefit the Chicago Fire Foundation!

Commemorative Jersey Auction

During the Wednesday, July 3rd Chicago Fire vs. San Jose Earthquakes game, supporters had the opportunity to text their bid for one-of-a-kind Chicago Fire jerseys from each member of the team, plus Sparky, and had the player whose jersey they won personally autograph it.  These unique jerseys featured red, white, and blue name and number plates.  Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everyone who bid! The auction raised nearly $12,000 for the Chicago Fire Foundation!

Guest Bartending

On July 16th, the Chicago Fire Foundation paired up with Fado Irish Pub in River North for a guest bartending event.  Joined by the Chicago Fire and special guest bartenders Gonzalo Segares and Daniel Paladini, fans were able to enjoy a relaxing evening of drinks, food, and soccer!  The Chicago Fire Foundation received 20% of all food sales during the event and guests stayed after to watch our very own Sean Johnson and the US Men’s National Team defeat Costa Rica 1-0 in a Gold Cup Qualifier.  All proceeds benefited the Chicago Fire Foundation.

Molly’s Cupcakes Fundraiser

From July 1st to August 8th The Chicago Fire Soccer Club and Molly’s Cupcakes teamed up to bring you the “Chicago Fire Velvet Swirl” cupcake! For each cupcake sold, $1 was donated to the Chicago Fire Foundation.

On July 25th at Molly’s Cupcakes, Daniel Paladini, Gonzalo Segares, and Patrick Nyarko served up your favorite cupcakes including the “Chicago Fire Velvet Swirl!” Molly’s matched all tips collected during the evening with proceeds benefiting the Chicago Fire Foundation.

Soccer & Style

Thank you to everyone who joined the Chicago Fire on Thursday September 19th at Roof on theWit for a fashion show featuring Chicago Fire players. Your favorite players walked the runway in this season’s hottest looks from 900 North Michigan Shops, The Original Penguin, Diesel, Mezlan, and Chicago Fire apparel. Nearly 200 guests enjoyed champagne from Moet-Hennessey while watching the team strut their stuff. All proceeds benefited the Chicago Fire Foundation.

Breast Cancer Awareness Commemorative Jersey Auction

During the Chicago Fire vs. Toronto FC game on Saturday October 19th, fans had the opportunity to bid on Commemorative Chicago Fire jerseys from each member of the team plus Sparky and have the player whose jersey they won personally autograph it.  These exclusive jerseys helped highlight the Fire’s partnership with MLS W.O.R.K.S. to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. Once again, supporters were able to place your bid via text message. The auction raised nearly $14,000 to benefit the Chicago Fire Foundation!

Season Kickoff Luncheon

The Chicago Fire Season Kickoff Luncheon and Unveiling of the New Primary Kit presented by Ticketmaster was Tuesday March 4th at the Hyatt Regency Chicago! Guests who attended this annual fundraiser had the exclusive opportunity for the first look at the new primary kit and to meet the 2014 first team and coaching staff! The event also featured lunch, a program, reception with photo booth and green screen, and an extensive silent auction. All proceeds benefited the Chicago Fire Foundation.
