Starting this September, all Chicago Fire Rec Soccer (CFRS) coed and men’s leagues will be played at the brand new, state-of-the-art Chicago Fire Soccer Center. Located on the north-side, a couple miles west of Wrigley Field, the Center will feature two full-sized turf fields, plenty of parking, and several nearby public transportation options. CFRS can’t wait to share their new dream-home with Fire fans from across Chicagoland.

The Soccer Center will stay open all year; in the winter an inflatable dome will turn the fields into a five-field indoor facility. CFRS will run coed and men’s leagues 6 days a week, year-round. Click on the links below to get more info about CFRS leagues kicking off this September:

Mondays - All COED
Tuesdays - All MEN’S
Wednesdays - COED and MEN’S
Thursdays - COED and MEN’S
Saturdays - COED and MEN’S
Sundays - COED and MEN’S

The future is bright! CFRS is looking forward to transitioning all of their leagues to the new facility and very much want you to be part of that move. Register for an upcoming league and tell your friends – adult rec soccer has a new Chicago home.

As many of you may recall, the Chicago Fire’s very own Gonzalo Segares was recognized as one of three Modern Hispanic Gentlemen last year for his charitable efforts and work in the community.

The honor has now presented him with an opportunity to continue the positive work by potentially helping him earn an additional $5,000 for the Chicago Fire Foundation.

But he needs your help.

Between now and August 8, you can show your support for Gonzalo and the Foundation by voting online.

Every vote will get him closer to the $5,000, which would be used to support the many community-based initiatives and youth programs offered by the Foundation, including the P.L.A.Y.S. Program, Premier Skills and more.

Help Sega and the Chicago Fire Foundation by voting here.
